A verse write-up composed for the purpose of being acted out by actors assuming the roles of characters in order to tell a story. These actors then speak the written dialogues and perform the actions specified in the composition to convey the story in visual form. Examples of drama include theatre, television, radio, or cinima. Drama is also a reference used when real-life events unfold in a dramatic fashion similar to a play, leaving emotional effects on an individual or group of people.
