The American Marketing Association defines marketing as "an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, communicating, and delivering value to customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders." The four typical sets of marketing are product, pricing, promotion, and placement of a product. Business marketing is when organizations and businesses sell goods or services to other organizations and businesses for the purpose of reselling them. This kind of marketing is called B2B or business marketing.
