Users of the internet interconnect into large subnetworks or Internet exchange points. The authority that assigns unique identifiers on the Internet is called the Internet Coporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, also known as ICANN. The World Wide Web is the largest used feature on the Internet. Users conduct searches through keyword-driven search engines or directories to find information. The internet is also used for file-sharing. This includes e-mail, music downloads, or BitTorrent networks. Also, streaming media is also accessed by several people using the Internet. For example, radio stations and television broadcasts can be watched and listened to buy Internet users. The internet is also used for business purposes such as banking, marketing, and advertisement.
