The Macintosh (also referred to as Mac) is a personal computer that was developed and designed by Apple in 1984. The product remains to be very popular to this day and has evolved into many forms including the Mac mini, Mac Pro workstation, MacBook portable computer, MacBook Pro portable workstation computer, iMac desktop computer, and the Xserve server. The Macintosh computer uses the Mac OS operating system, which was the first graphical interfaced used wideley around the world. Mac applications software includes iMac DV, iMovie, iTunes, and iPhoto.
